Weekly Wrap 30 October is three tracks long. efan put out two dubstep cuts that last under five minutes put together. 1111 got Yizzy on her first Gotta Move single, and Pretty Girl named her new one after the beach at Seaford.
Weekly Wrap 30 October opens with efan going 140
efan put up “and the crowd goes” and “metal sheet beat” on Monday evening, and we liked it a few hours later. Both are tagged dubstep. Both clock in under two and a half minutes, so the whole release is done in less than five.
There’s no label and no blurb, just a green scratched-out face screaming on the cover. His last few months have bounced between dark UKG, breaks and jungle, so a straight 140 two-tracker is a turn. It’s out on efan’s Bandcamp, and we wrote it up in our efan and the crowd goes post.
1111 and Yizzy keep it garage
“1, 2 Step” came out on 23 October through Gotta Move, Insomniac’s house and garage label, and reached 1111’s SoundCloud on Tuesday. It’s catalogue number GM045 and her first record for the label.
Yizzy does most of the talking over a UKG beat. 1111 tagged it UK bass and bass house too, and the label’s notes mention rattling basslines and deep sub sweeps. The radio edit is 2:52, with a 4:22 extended mix for DJs on Gotta Move.
Our 1111 and Yizzy 1, 2 Step post has more on who 1111 is. Her GemFest 2027 mix is worth a play if you like the single.
Pretty Girl heads for the coast
“Seaford Sunset” is out on Pretty Girl’s own label, earthside, dated 28 October. We liked it that morning. Emilia Predebon wrote it alone, and it runs 3:38.
It’s tagged house, and it’s her third earthside release since the Body Step EP and “Waterline” this year. Her team describes her sound as Chicago house with UKG basslines and her own vocals on top. The garage low end is the reason it’s on this list.
