1111 put up a 15-minute GemFest 2027 mix on 19 October, tagged UK garage, bassline, dubstep and dub. The festival’s own site still has next year’s line-up down as coming soon.
GemFest is the camping weekender run by Welsh label PullUp Recordings at Charlton Park Estate, just outside Malmesbury in Wiltshire. What began as a 21st birthday party for 300 friends is now an 8,000-capacity festival. Next year’s edition runs from Thursday 17 to Sunday 20 June. Tickets are on sale now.
1111, said “eleven eleven”, is the club alias of London vocalist, songwriter and producer Lauren L’aimant. She has said the project is “heavily influenced by the music I would share with my late brother, in the days of vinyl and pirate radio; too young to go clubbing but too wild to stay in.” Her debut EP Youth came out on Fly Boy Records. The Better Days EP was written as a tribute to him, and she followed it in October 2024 with “SOS” featuring Aya Anne. In May 2025 she and Bacavi released “Take More Chances” through Polydor.
Danny Howard and Sian Eleri have both backed her on BBC Radio 1, and Ben Malone made “Rhythm & Soul” his Spotlight Selection on Kiss FM.
