Franky Rizardo is bringing his house sound to Cardiff Castle next summer. The Dutch DJ headlines DEPOT Live in the castle grounds on Saturday 7 August 2027, with Shangri-La hosting the day. The rest of the lineup is still to be announced.
Franky Rizardo at Cardiff Castle: tickets
Presale opens at 10am on Thursday 29 October. You can sign up for it on the DEPOT Live event page. General sale follows at 10am on Friday 30 October through DEPOT Live and Ticketmaster. The listing has it starting at 2pm, and the event is strictly 18+.
A big year for Rizardo
DEPOT Live calls Rizardo the Netherlands’ most internationally booked DJ. He’s part of the Music On family and plays regularly at Pacha Ibiza, Space Miami and Reframe Studios in Los Angeles. His sets lean on groove and energy, which should suit a big open-air crowd in the middle of the Welsh capital.
This is a step up for him in the UK. In 2026 he sold out Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome with his More To Life concept, playing to 15,000 people. He also runs the FLOW events brand, which now has a residency at Pacha Ibiza, and his LTF Records label sits among Beatport’s best-selling house labels.
He’s already booked for Creamfields too. We covered his Creamfields 2027 slot earlier this autumn.
DEPOT Live at Cardiff Castle 2027
Rizardo joins a busy summer at the castle. Shangri-La also has Sonny Fodera at Cardiff Castle. His Friday 4 June show has sold out, and a second date on Saturday 5 June has been added. Kraftwerk play on Wednesday 23 June and The Corrs on Sunday 27 June.
If you missed out on Fodera, this is the next big house date in the grounds. Fodera’s first date went quickly, so expect the presale for this one to be busy too.
