Goldie is taking over a room at Saatchi Gallery in London for six months. The drum and bass pioneer is one of the headline names in BEYOND THE STREETS II, which opens on the King’s Road on Wednesday 11 November 2026 and runs until Wednesday 5 May 2027.
Goldie’s room brings an immersive Metalheadz record shop into the gallery, a nod to the label he co-founded in 1994. Around it, 30 years of his short films and music videos will play across 30 stacks of vintage TVs. The space also goes back to where he started: painting walls and trains across Wolverhampton and Birmingham long before Timeless.
Goldie at Saatchi Gallery: why it fits
Graffiti came first for Goldie. The gallery lists him as “GOLDIE & Metalheadz” among more than 100 artists in the show, next to graffiti names such as FUTURA 2000, LADY PINK and ZEPHYR, plus KAWS, Shepard Fairey, Jenny Holzer and Damien Hirst.
“Within any major city there is an interior of graffiti writers, overground and underground,” Goldie said in the gallery’s announcement. “It’s all one unbelievable continuous storyline and phenomenon. As much as the governments try to erase us, BEYOND THE STREETS proves there is enough interest in and documentation of this culture to allow us to rise up.”
