Sonny Fodera is taking his summer outdoors next year. The London-based house DJ and Solotoko boss has two open-air UK headline shows lined up for 2027: Cardiff Castle on Friday 4 June, then On The Beach in Brighton on Saturday 24 July.
Cardiff is part of the DEPOT Live series in the castle grounds, with Shangri-La hosting the night. It’s strictly 18+ and support is still to be announced. His last Cardiff show sold out, and this one is open air under the castle walls. Presale opens at 10am on Thursday 22 October, with general sale at 10am on Friday 23 October through DEPOT Live.
The Brighton date is on the beach at Madeira Drive, part of Louder’s On The Beach series, which has had Chase & Status, Bicep, Eric Prydz, Underworld and Carl Cox down there in past summers. Presale for that one starts a day earlier, at 10am on Wednesday 21 October, and general sale is also 10am on Friday 23 October. Presale sign-up is here, and tickets will be on the On The Beach site. The poster notes the Brighton show is still subject to licence.
Fodera’s had a good run lately. “Asking” with MK and Clementine Douglas went gold and reached No. 7, and he was the first DJ to sell out Co-op Live in Manchester. We last had him on the site with the Hitty remix of Think About Us.
