Creamfields
Our guide to the 30th anniversary edition: dates, tickets, lineup, stages and how to get there.

Creamfields 2027 runs from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 August in Daresbury, Cheshire. It’s the August Bank Holiday weekend, and the site sits between Liverpool and Manchester.
Next year is a big one. Creamfields is marking 30 years, so the festival has opened its 2027 announcements with The Prodigy. There’s also a brand new main stage on the way.
Creamfields 2027 dates and location
The festival’s official FAQ lists Creamfields 2027 for Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 August 2027. If you have a four-day camping ticket, you can arrive on the Thursday.
The official event listing gives the address as Chester Road, Daresbury, WA4 5LP. Even so, Creamfields asks drivers to follow the festival road signs rather than a sat nav. Roads around the site close during the event.
Creamfields is strictly 18+, and it runs Challenge 21. You’ll need valid photo ID, such as a driving licence, a passport, a PASS card or an Armed Forces ID. A national ID card from outside the UK also works.
Where it came from
Cream started out as a weekly club night at Nation in Liverpool in October 1992. The first Creamfields festival followed in 1998. These days it’s run by Cream Global, which is still based in Liverpool.
The official site also links to Creamfields events in Argentina, Chile and Malta. However, there’s no Creamfields South or Creamfields North listed for 2027. Both of those old websites now redirect to the main Creamfields site.
Creamfields 2027 tickets
Tickets are on sale now from the official Creamfields tickets page. The festival also names Ticketmaster, Ticketline and Big Green Coach as approved ticket agents. Closer to the event, an official Fan to Fan resale opens too.
At the time of writing (28 October 2026), the official tickets page listed these prices. A booking fee is added on top of each one.
- Standard 4-day camping (Thursday to Sunday): £300 plus £25
- 3-day camping, standard (Friday to Sunday): £280 plus £25
- Standard 3-day without camping: £275 plus £25
- Saturday or Sunday day ticket: £125 plus £15
- Friday day ticket: £75 plus £10.50
Bronze, Silver and Gold versions of the camping tickets cost more. For example, Gold 4-day camping was £440 plus fees. Gold tickets come with a complimentary meal each day. Silver and Gold also include free parking.
All 2-day camping tickets had already sold out. In addition, Creamfields says there are no pass-outs, so once you leave the arena you can’t get back in.
If you’d rather spread the cost, there’s an official instalment plan. You pay a £20 deposit, and the rest is split into nine payments. Klarna and PayPal pay-later options also show at checkout.
Which tickets get you in on Friday?
Not every ticket covers Friday. According to the tickets page, these are the only ones that do:
- 4-day or 3-day camping tickets
- 3-day non-camping tickets
- Friday and Saturday 2-day tickets
- Friday day tickets
Creamfields 2027 lineup so far
The full lineup hasn’t been announced yet. So far, the official announcements page has named a handful of acts.
- The Prodigy headline APEX on Saturday 28 August. It’s their first Creamfields in 14 years, and 2027 is also the 30th anniversary of The Fat of the Land.
- Josh Baker, KETTAMA and Prospa play b2b2b on the Arc stage on Friday 27 August.
- Jamie Jones and Marco Carola are both in Steel Yard on Saturday 28 August.
- Hannah Laing plays on Saturday, and Creamfields bills it as an English festival exclusive.
- Franky Rizardo returns to APEX on Sunday 29 August after two years away.
More names will follow. For updates, keep an eye on the official lineup page and our own news posts below.
Stages at Creamfields
APEX is the big one. Creamfields calls it one of the world’s biggest indoor festival stages. Steel Yard and Arc return as well, both already confirmed in the 2027 announcements.
The headline change for 2027 is Runway 2.0. It merges two old stages, Runway and HALO, into one new space. According to Creamfields, it holds 20,000 people and measures 60m by 40m. Above the crowd, three 15m diamond structures carry LED screens.
Getting to Creamfields
Daresbury is easy to reach from most of the North West. Creamfields’ own guide puts Liverpool about 31 minutes away by car. Manchester is about 39 minutes, and Chester about 24.
Some official travel pages still show older dates and prices. For that reason, check the Creamfields travel page for 2027 details before you book anything.
Train and shuttle bus
The nearest stations are Runcorn, Warrington Central and Warrington Bank Quay. Liverpool Lime Street is another option. From there, official shuttle buses run from Liverpool, Manchester and Warrington.
A few details are worth knowing. Shuttles to Runcorn and Widnes run on the return journey only. Manchester open returns have to be booked in advance. On site, the shuttle box office is at the Transport Hub near the North Entrance.
Coach
Big Green Coach is the official coach partner again for 2027. Its coaches arrive on Thursday 26 or Friday 27 August and head home on Monday 30 August. Pick-ups cover dozens of towns and cities, from Aberdeen and Inverness down to Plymouth.
Creamfields’ coach page says you can secure a seat with a £1 deposit. Bear in mind that Big Green Coach has a strict no-trolley policy.
Driving and parking
Every car needs a car park pass, and it’s a physical pass sent by post. Pre-booking is cheaper than paying on the day. Gold, Silver and Dreamfields tickets include free parking. At the time of writing, 2027 parking prices and booking deadlines were still to be confirmed.
If you’re coming from the Liverpool side, you may cross the Mersey Gateway or the Silver Jubilee Bridge. Both use free-flow tolls, which you pay online with merseyflow by midnight the day after you cross.
Campervans, caravans and motorhomes aren’t allowed. Likewise, you can’t sleep in your car, as the campsites are tents only.
Flying in
Liverpool John Lennon and Manchester Airport are both close. From Liverpool, take a bus to Liverpool South Parkway and a train on to Warrington Central for the shuttle. From Manchester Airport, a train gets you to Warrington Central.
Taxis
Taxis drop off and pick up near the North car park. It’s best to pre-book, and Creamfields asks you to use licensed taxis only.
Camping and accommodation
Your camping ticket decides your campsite. Standard tickets use the standard campsites. Bronze, Silver and Gold each come with their own campsites, which have showers and flushing toilets. Silver and Gold also get pamper hubs.
On top of that, there are two add-ons. Pre-Pitch gives you a tent that’s already set up, open from midday Thursday to midday Monday. Dreamfields is the luxury camping option. It has a 24-hour reception and proper toilets and showers, plus a free car pass for every two guests. You still need a camping ticket for either one.
Dreamfields and 2-day camping were both sold out by early October 2026. Stock changes often, so check the luxury camping page for what’s left.
Campers can also use Downtown, the campsite village. It mixes sport, wellness and entertainment, and entry is free with a camping ticket.
What to bring and the main rules
Campers can bring their own drink into the campsites. The official allowance is up to 24 cans plus one litre of spirits in a plastic bottle per person. Pre-mixed cocktails are capped at one litre. You can’t take alcohol into the arena, though.
Glass is banned everywhere on site. That includes perfume bottles and mirrors, although a small compact mirror is fine.
Day ticket holders have tighter limits. Your bag can’t be bigger than A4, and you can bring one sealed 500ml bottle of water.
A few other items are off the list for everyone. Portable speakers and gazebos aren’t allowed, and camping chairs stay in the campsites. Suitcases are allowed for campers, but Creamfields recommends a rucksack.
For charging, Creamfields uses Charge Candy, and lockers can be booked too. The official FAQ has the full list of rules.
Watch the official Creamfields 2025 aftermovie
Here’s the official aftermovie from Creamfields 2025, posted on the festival’s YouTube channel. We’ll swap in the 2026 film once it’s out.
The channel also has full DJ sets from previous years, including Pete Tong and Josh Baker at Creamfields 2025.
