Sammy Virji Creamfields 2027 takes over APEX on Sunday 29 August. Creamfields has put him down for a huge APEX takeover at Daresbury, Cheshire. It lands on the closing day of the festival’s 30th-anniversary weekend.

The booking went live on the Creamfields site today, 6 November, in the news and updates strip. Virji now appears on the Sunday column of the announced-so-far list. The festival runs from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 August 2027 over the bank holiday weekend.
Sammy Virji Creamfields 2027 takes over APEX on Sunday
Creamfields is calling it a return and a huge APEX takeover, which points to a headline-length set rather than a short support slot. Creamfields has not published the takeover’s set length or support bill. Sunday already lists Franky Rizardo among the names out so far. Virji gives the closing day another major UK club booking on the big stage.
Virji’s recent run has been UK garage and bass first: the Open Late album, club dates, and a Concourse night for The Warehouse Project in Manchester. Moving that sound onto APEX for Sunday puts him in the main Creamfields grid instead of a side room.
Where the 2027 Creamfields lineup sits now
Saturday already has The Prodigy on APEX and Martin Garrix b2b Alesso on the Arc. Hannah Laing and Jamie Jones are also on the bill. Friday’s Arc bill includes Josh Baker, KETTAMA and Prospa back to back to back. Carl Cox and Joseph Capriati are on Runway 2.0, and Armand Van Helden is on the Arc. Virji’s Sunday APEX takeover is the first Sunday name of that size since Franky Rizardo landed on the list.
Tickets for Creamfields 2027 are on sale through the official tickets page now. Payment plans and loyalty windows sit on the same page. Buy there for Daresbury rather than through random resale listings. Keep an eye on Creamfields socials for the next wave of names after today’s Sammy Virji Creamfields 2027 drop.
