Tim Reaper has announced his debut solo album. World’s End arrives on Hyperdub on 19 February 2027, and the lead single Roll Call is out now.
Pre-orders are live for digital, double vinyl and digipack CD through Hyperdub and Tim Reaper’s Bandcamp. Stream and save links are collected at timreaper.lnk.to/worldsend.
Tim Reaper is a London jungle producer and DJ who also runs the Future Retro label. Most of his recent records have come out there, including a run of EPs. A solo album on Hyperdub puts the same work onto one of the UK’s best-known electronic labels.
Roll Call is out now
Roll Call opens the record. It’s the chopped marching-band cut Hyperdub put out first, and you can hear it on Bandcamp, Spotify and YouTube. The rest of the album follows on 19 February, so the single is out a little over three months ahead of the full release.
The tracks on Tim Reaper World’s End
After Roll Call the album runs through Dustbowl, Fangs, Aim Assist, Subspace, Emergency Loop, Feeding Frenzy, Impending Doom, Hard Rain, Sudden Death and Widespread Panic.
Artwork and layout are by Ross Morrell. Mastering is by Beau Thomas. Digital is £9, the 2xLP is £26.99 and the digipack CD is £12.99, and all three formats are available to pre-order now.
After Scorched Earth and In Full Effect
Reaper already puts out a lot of music through his own Future Retro imprint, and in 2024 he released the collaborative LP In Full Effect with Australian producer Kloke. World’s End is his first solo album on Hyperdub, building on the wider jungle experiments from his 2024 Scorched Earth EP.
Hyperdub posted the news on X on 5 November, with pre-orders open the same day.
