It’s been five years since Dom Mayes last put a mix out — and no, it was not an April Fool’s. Shella Mode 001 lands as a more energetic reset: nearly half an hour of bass, UK garage, dubstep and grime pressure that helped open the Shella Mode series.
The selection runs remix culture and UK club heat hard — Skrillex, Bakey, Peekaboo, Notion, Chase & Status, Dizzee/JME lanes, Champion, Y U QT, Nero and more — the kind of mix that feels like a warehouse warm-up with the system already open.
