Nero are bringing Welcome Reality back to London. Dan Stephens, Joe Ray and Alana Watson will play a one-off show called Welcome Reality XV at Outernet Live on Sunday 6 December, 15 years after their debut album came out. It’s their first London show together as a three-piece in more than ten years.

Presale opens at 10am on Thursday 8 October. You register through the link in Nero’s Instagram bio, and the event is listed on Skiddle. Louder are promoting the night, which runs from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.

Welcome Reality landed on MTA on 12 August 2011 and went to number one on the UK albums chart. “Promises” later topped the singles chart, and the Skrillex and Nero remix of it won a Grammy in 2013. “Me & You” and “Guilt” are on the record too, so there’s no shortage of material for a night like this.

Stephens and Ray started out in drum and bass, with their first release coming out in 2004. Watson began singing on their tracks in 2008 and has been a full member ever since.

We last had Nero on Unorthodox with the Blame You preview, released on their own 2808 Recordings label.
