
The Prospect Building in Bristol has teamed up with Team Love and Undivide for PROSPECTIVE, a season of electronic nights at the old Ministry of Defence torpedo warehouse on Feeder Road that runs through to New Year’s Eve. Eric Prydz opens it this Friday, 9 October. It’s his first Bristol show in ten years, and Aaron Hibell, BBY GOOSE and Stuart Wilkinson are on with him.
Saturday 10 October is the tenth birthday of SWU.FM, the city’s community radio station, with Joy Orbison and DJ EZ at the top of a multi-room bill that’s still being filled in. Eats Everything, Groove Armada and Mike Skinner lead History of Rave on 17 October. A week later, on 24 October, Bristol Pride’s first BIG MOOD party brings Jodie Harsh and Bimini b2b Absolute.
Above & Beyond try out a new Anjunabeats Warehouse night on 30 October, and 4AM Kru and Oppidan play the tenth Carnival of the Dead on Halloween. Chris Stassy goes midday to midnight on 7 November. UKF’s first show at the venue follows on 14 November with Wilkinson, K Motionz and A Little Sound.
Teletech is in on 27 November and ATW takes over the next night with Interplanetary Criminal and Main Phase. Valve Sound System marks 25 years on 4 December with Dillinja, Born On The Road, DJ Hype and Danny Byrd. Glastonbury’s Glade has its 30th birthday on 18 December as a ten-hour Winter Solstice event, with Orbital headlining alongside HAAi b2b Special Request, Leftfield (DJ set), Hannah Holland and Channel One Sound System.
Fat Freddy’s Drop (16 October), Elder Island (6 November) and Nia Archives (25 November) play live shows in between. The main room holds around 3,000 and the Crane room 1,350. Phase one tickets are on sale now through the venue, with more dates to be added.
