Signals is the fifth studio album from Dusky, released on 25 September on Anjunadeep. It has 13 tracks and runs to about 48 minutes, so the SoundCloud playlist above is the album in full.
It marks the London duo’s return to the label that put out their 2011 debut Stick By This. The club side is there on Next Life, Kadhalan and Lab, with Rromarin singing across several tracks and a contribution from Nadeem and Pritt. Elm and Bindweed slow things down, leaning on soul, disco and live instrumentation. Some of it dates back years, some is recent.
Dusky play the Signals Tour across the UK and Ireland from 16 October to 5 December, including Sheffield, Manchester, Bristol, Brighton, Edinburgh, Galway, Belfast and Dublin, plus several London nights at Phonox.
