Orbital have a new album on the way. Other lands on 19 March 2027 via London Records — their 11th studio record, and the first full set of new material since Optical Delusion in 2023.

First taste is out now: Mother, Maiden & Crone, with Maxine Peake on vocals. Official word has it drawing on witchcraft and folklore, gothic synths and séance-like delivery. The Hartnolls are framing Other around otherness — neurodiversity, identity, outsiders — and say the record moves through gothic folk, drum & bass, punk and ambient as well as the electronic sound they’re known for.

Alongside the album comes The Other Tour across the UK, Ireland and Europe in April and May 2027. It opens in Dublin at 3Olympia Theatre on Thursday 8 April, then Limerick (Dolans, 9 Apr) and Belfast (Limelight 1, 10 Apr), before a run of UK rooms: Northampton Roadmender, Liverpool O2 Academy, Glasgow Barrowland, Nottingham Rock City, Manchester Academy, Cardiff Tramshed, Frome Cheese and Grain, Birmingham O2 Institute, Bournemouth O2 Academy, and London’s British Airways ARC on 24 April. Europe follows — Amsterdam Gashouder, Paris Bataclan, Brussels Ancienne Belgique, Berlin Festsaal Kreuzberg, Copenhagen Store Vega (4 May).

General tickets go on sale at 10am local on Friday 23 October, with a pre-sale from 10am Wednesday 21 October. Pre-order the limited tour edition of Other (2LP + CD, alternative artwork hand-ticked by Paul or Phil) for early-access codes — that window runs 10am 15 October through 11.59pm 22 October. Full dates and links are on Orbital’s live page and the tour hub. Album pre-order/save is here.
