The GALA 2027 lineup has its first names, and Four Tet sits alone at the top of the poster. The South London festival goes back to Peckham Rye Park over the late May bank holiday. It runs from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 May 2027. The park date is still subject to licence.
It will be the festival’s 11th edition. GALA started out as student parties in Newcastle, run by two friends, before it settled in Peckham as an independent three-day weekender.
Who is on the GALA 2027 lineup so far
Below Four Tet, the official A to Z runs to 22 more acts. They are Angel D’lite, Antal & Hunee, Benji B & Judah, Blawan, Chez Damier, DJ Harvey, Egyptian Lover, Freakenstein, Gene On Earth, HAAi, Introspekt, Louise Chen, Moxie, Ogazón & Ryan Elliott, Oppidan, Peach, Prosumer, Shy FX, Skin On Skin, Soichi Terada, Tama Sumo & Lakuti and Verraco. More are still to come.
The festival has called next year’s edition The House We Keep. The idea is a nod to house music’s roots in Chicago and New York clubs.
The press announcement also splits the bill by day. Friday is the bass-heavy one, with Four Tet joined by Shy FX, Skin On Skin, Oppidan, Introspekt and Benji B & Judah. On Saturday you get HAAi, Egyptian Lover, Angel D’lite, Peach, Freakenstein and Ogazón & Ryan Elliott. Sunday then turns to house and disco. Antal & Hunee, Chez Damier, Gene On Earth, Louise Chen, Moxie and Soichi Terada all play, and DJ Harvey takes over the Pleasure Dome with friends.
Stage hosts
A long list of crews will host stages. Rinse FM, Deviation, HVYWGHT and Born N Bread are on board. So are queer party Adonis, Peach’s Dreamland, FWEAKY, Rush Hour, Moxie’s On Loop, Limousine Dream and TraTraTrax.
GALA 2027 tickets
Presale tickets cost £49.50 plus a booking fee. They go on sale on Friday 30 October at 10am UK time. First, you need to register on the official presale page, and GALA says presale numbers are limited.
It’s not the only big London date for next summer. Bicep have already booked a live show at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich for July. The rest of the year’s weekenders are in our UK Festivals section.
