Chase & Status have locked in their next studio album: Generic Everything, out 9 October 2026 via 2RUFF Records (under exclusive licence to Warner Music UK).
The 10-track project was announced on 26 August alongside new single “Gone Too Far” featuring Debbie — the clear next chapter after the Baddadan / BACKBONE run that took them from platinum club heaters to a UK Number One with Stormzy.
The guest list is stacked across UK scenes and beyond: J Hus, Little Simz, Skrillex, Giggs, D Double E, Blanco, IRAH, Col3trane, Saam Sultan, Finesse Kid, Ledbyher and Debbie. Official store copy frames it as Chase & Status still refusing genre boxes — rave, rap, soundsystem culture and electronic music in one pass.

On the album’s concept, the duo put it bluntly:
“Generic Everything is about resisting the pressure to become the same as everyone else. In a world shaped by AI, algorithms and endless content, creativity is constantly being pushed towards what’s familiar, safe and predictable. The cube is our symbol for that pressure… This album is about pushing back.”
