The Warehouse Project 2026 is the club’s 20th season in Manchester. Known as WHP26, it runs at Depot Mayfield from September to New Year’s Eve.
This guide covers the shows still to come, how tickets work and what to expect on the door. It also explains how to get to the venue, and links to our own WHP coverage.
Warehouse Project 2026 season dates
WHP26 opened on Friday 18 September 2026 with KI/KI. The season then closes on Thursday 31 December 2026 with a New Year’s Eve party from Defected and Glitterbox.
Most Warehouse Project 2026 nights start between 20:00 and 21:00 and finish at 03:00 or 04:00. A few day-to-night shows begin in the afternoon, so check the times on each event before you travel.
There’s no word yet on a 2027 season. As soon as The Warehouse Project announces it, we’ll add it here.

Twenty years of WHP
The Warehouse Project started in 2006 at the old Boddingtons brewery in Strangeways. It later moved to the concrete car park on Store Street, and today it’s based at Depot Mayfield.
To mark 20 years, WHP made a short film with director Leigh Powis. It has also published its first print magazine, which runs to more than 140 pages. In addition, there’s a merch collaboration with Manchester brand UN:IK.
How tickets work
Every Warehouse Project 2026 show has its own ticket, and prices vary from night to night. You buy them through the calendar, where some shows open with a sign-up for presale access first.
Importantly, WHP only sells through its verified partners. These include Ticketmaster, Skiddle, See Tickets, GigsAndTours, Dice and Kaboodle. Bundl sells packages that combine a ticket with a hotel or apartment near the venue.
Be careful with resale. Tickets aren’t released until the week of the show. Because of that, anyone offering you a PDF or QR code weeks early isn’t selling a real ticket. Likewise, WHP warns against Viagogo, TicketSwap and ticket sellers on social media.
VIP and lockers
VIP gets you a fast-track entry lane and VIP viewing platforms in Depot and Concourse, depending on the show. You also get your own bars and toilets on those platforms.
On top of that, Apple Music subscribers can claim free VIP upgrades this season. They’re limited, they’re released monthly until December, and you still need a general admission ticket.
Big bags aren’t allowed, though, so book a locker if you’re bringing a coat. Lockers can be reserved in advance and are digital, with no keys to carry.
The venue: Depot Mayfield
Depot Mayfield is a large industrial events space right beside Manchester Piccadilly station. The address is 11 Baring Street, Manchester M1 2PY.
WHP uses several rooms inside it. Depot is the main room, while Concourse, Archive and Vault also appear on this season’s lineups. Some shows are Concourse only, and WHP describes those as its more intimate nights.
For most shows, general admission is on Temperance Street, just off Fairfield Street. VIP customers use Neild Street, next to The Star & Garter pub. Concourse-only shows also use Neild Street, so check your ticket.
Meanwhile, Freight Island sits next door, in the same Depot Mayfield complex. If you show your WHP ticket there, you get 20% off food and drink across that weekend.
Accessibility
There are accessible toilets, an accessible viewing platform in Depot and an accessible viewing area in Concourse. Access requests and PA tickets go through an online form, at least a week before the show.
WHP uses the Nimbus access card system. However, it’s also upfront that the Depot VIP platform, the rooftop and The Star & Garter have no lifts. The full details are on the accessibility page.
Getting to The Warehouse Project
The venue sits directly opposite Manchester Piccadilly train station and Metrolink stop. As a result, public transport is the easiest way in. WHP’s own guide puts Piccadilly about 2 hours 20 minutes from London by train.
There’s a private car park on Fairfield Street, but space is limited. Getting home is easy too, with taxis and trains at Piccadilly a couple of minutes’ walk away. Buses run from Piccadilly Gardens, about five minutes away on foot.
If you’re flying in for Warehouse Project 2026, Manchester Airport has direct flights from many European cities. From there, a train reaches the city centre in 15 to 20 minutes.
Where to stay
In general, the city centre is the most convenient base. The Northern Quarter, Piccadilly Gardens, Ancoats and Oxford Road are all close to the nightlife. Salford Quays and Trafford are a little further out. Even so, they’re linked to the centre by tram.
Rooms fill up fast on big weekends, so book early. The official travel page has more ideas.
Entry rules at WHP
All shows are 18+ unless the event says otherwise. You’ll need a passport, a driving licence or a Citizen Card with a PASS hologram. ID is checked on entry and again at the bars, under Challenge 25.
Everyone is searched on the way in, and drug detection dogs are at every event. For that reason, arriving early is the best way to beat the queues. Once you leave, you can’t get back in.
Bags can’t be bigger than an A4 envelope. You also can’t bring any of the following:
- liquids, glass or aerosols, including perfume, make-up and sprays
- more than 10ml of vape liquid
- food or drink of any kind
- football shirts, face coverings or masks
- weapons, lasers, flares, umbrellas, hi-vis vests or chewing gum
You can bring an empty, clear plastic bottle and fill it at the free water points by the bars. Items left at the entrance can’t be collected later. The entry policy has the full list.
Welfare and safety
Welfare team W.E.L.Safe is at every WHP event. Its team offers confidential advice and a quiet space away from the crowd. You’ll find them in the smoking area next to the Depot toilets, and in blue hi-vis around each room.
Similarly, you reach the medical team through the smoking area. It’s on the left of Depot as you walk in from Concourse. Phone charging is available at the merch stall. Finally, if you lose something, lost property is kept for two weeks.
Watch ‘Twenty Years In Manchester’
WHP released this short film on its official YouTube channel on 28 May 2026. Directed by Leigh Powis, it traces the journey from Boddingtons to Depot Mayfield. The music is Tribute by Bakey, out on WHP Records.
