Ray-Ban Polarized Tour Germany // James Hersey

In this video, James Hersey teams up with Ray-Bans (yes as in sunglasses) and creates a video for the great sounding acoustic version of Juliet.

Quoted from our previous post :
“James Hersey from Vienna, Austria recently released the first track off his upcoming mixtape and if this track is anything to go by then it is going to be exceptional! The track has a great electronic vibe and just makes you want to dance, along with a catchy chorus that I find myself fighting the urge to not join in and sing along. The last release he put out was his TWELVE mixtape which was more mellow feeling but had great vocals and captivating lyrics. I’m really excited in the new direction he has taken with this track and will be keeping you all up to date with his future releases and the mixtape when it drops (date currently unknown)”

You may notice this track recently also took our spot as featured track on the website. You will be hearing more from James in the future so stay tuned!

The Killers vs. CAZZETTE – Shot At Night (Extended Mix)

Yes, I realise this remix has been out for a few days now but that doesn’t change the fact that I think it’s worth sharing with you guys. Having been exceptionally busy the last couple of days, this one has been lined up but never actually made it onto the site. Its a high energy mix of the Swedish duo’s ‘Shot At Night’ and the Killers. The track is to be included on the Killers next album titled ‘Direct hits’

Sammy Adams – I Wish

Sammy Adams recently released the song “I wish” from his upcoming EP titled “Homecoming” which is due to be released in fall of this year. The track features production from Maejor Ali better known as “Bei Maejor” and is a change from the party style songs Sammy usually drops. Im hoping the EP will show a more mature artist since signing with RCA Records of Sony and working with Mike Posner for the lead single of Homecoming called “L.A. Story” Sammy Adams was recently announced to be joining Timeflies on their Warning Signs tour after Chiddy Bang where kicked off for inappropriate behaviour from a guest they allowed backstage that was not part of the group.

Check him out on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Hellogoodbye – (Everything Is) Debatable

Hellogoodbye just released the video for their newest single from their upcoming album of the same name  ‘Everything Is Debatable’ The album is set to be released on the 29th October and they have taken a slightly different direction from their past genre of synthpop its a little more laid back but still something you most definitely vibe too with a catchy chorus. The band first formed way back in 2001 and the members of the group have since changed drastically with only the lead singer Forrest Kline present from the beginning, this helps to explain the genre change but the vocals are still very much on point. Some reading this post will definitely remember the name Hellogoodbye for their single “Here (In Your Arms)” which was a popular hit back back in 2006 and one I have fond memories of so check out the video for that below!

Connect with the group on Facebook, Twitter, Website and Youtube.

Of Monsters and Men – Little Talks (Thomas Jack Remix)

When I first listened to this remix it became apparent that it was a complete re imaging of the a classic. Everyone knows the original in question, ‘Little talks’ is recognisable anywhere. Thomas Jack decided to give it a light, airy almost outdoor feel, achieving this through the use of a pan flutes, jungle conga drums and Caribbean chimes. It comes as no surprise to me that he is from Sydney, Australia. At 20 years old, that makes him the same age as me, and what he has achieved so far is nothing short of noteworthy. Acknowledged by Tiesto and 4 #1s on the Hype Machine charts in the past couple of months! Whilst this remix has no trouble in keeping hold of the emotion from the original, it also adds a stronger feel good vibe. I see no reason it wouldn’t fit into a set or pool party playlist, we will just have to hold onto it until next summer! He has also remixed one of my all time favourite tracks, ‘Teenage Crime’ which you can check out here:

KOAN Sound & Asa – Sanctuary EP Preview

KOAN Sound makes some of the most breathtaking music that I have heard. Their remix of the Halo ‘Red vs Blue’ track was featured in our Summer Stunners playlist. This EP sounds to be no different, ‘Sanctuary’ combines KOAN Sound’s signature bass with atmospheric piano and well structured beats once again. The vocals from Asa are nothing short of amazing either. We also posted an Ed Sheeran remix by KOAN Sound a while ago, both of our previous posts have me hooked and eager for more. If the EP starts off too slowly for you, skip ahead and you will feel the bass, especially on the last track ‘Tetsuo’s redemption’ The EP will come out on October 22nd and can be pre-ordered here: smarturl.it/SanctuaryiTunes
